What people who worked with me say

She knew the underwriters better than our brokers did. That changed what we could negotiate, and it changed what we decided to keep.
J.K.
Treasurer, listed manufacturer
Most finance people send you a spreadsheet. Irene came to the floor, watched a shift, and then sent the spreadsheet. It was a better spreadsheet.
T.S.
Plant Manager
We brought her in for judgment rather than analysis. She would tell you when a thesis did not hold, which is rarer than it ought to be.
C.B.
Operating Partner, private investment firm
She asks the question everyone else is avoiding, early enough that it can still be answered.
